Postcard size regulations include Aspect Ratio. Postcard size mail must have an Aspect Ratio between 1.3 and 2.5. To find aspect ratio, divide width by height.
Aspect Ratio = W / H
Example: A postcard measuring 5 1/2 inches wide and 4 1/4 inches high has an aspect ratio = 5.5/4.25 = 1.3
Example: A postcard measuring 5 inches wide and 4 1/4 high has an aspect ratio = 5/4.25 = 1.2
